Today, Lucian, Jake and Charlie made history as Saxilby School’s first ever golf team. They were a credit to themselves and our school; demonstrating our school values of respect, kindness and safety brilliantly at the William Farr golf competition.
They also showed fantastic natural talent at golf as, after only a few day’s practice, they came through the Tri-golf competition with flying colours and are through to the County finals that are to be held next week.
How proud are we!!!!!!!!!!
Today our action heroes have been enjoying the delights of weaselling, canoeing and climbing. They have enjoyed a well-deserved ice-cream to recharge their batteries for another full day of fun in the sun tomorrow!
Our lovely Year 6s continue to have an amazing time and have been vertical, horizontal and every which way!
Today has been spent climbing, trying Archery and flying through the air via the “Leap of Faith”. An amazing day and it looks like everyone is having the time of their lives.
All those back at base look forward to hearing about their fantastic adventures when they return.
Our intrepid explorers have arrived fit and well at Edale activity centre. And what beautiful weather to be outdoors! They have been busy already and have an exciting night hike to look forward to after they’ve enjoyed a hearty dinner!
What a fantastic time they are having!
